What do I do?
I work as Team Lead in a SOC, my role is to act as Lead for the analyst team of around 15 L1-3 analysts. I have worked in Cyber Security since Sept 2019, before that I worked in retail for ~15 years, most of that as a Lead or Manager.
Certifications?
Comptia Net+, Sec+, CYSA+, Pentest+ and working on CASP+.
I have completed Blue Team Level 1 from Security Blue Team and would highly recommend it.
I intend to complete the BTL2 at some stage in the near future.
Practice?
I have accounts on Hackthebox, BTL, Lets Defend and Try Hack Me (top 1%).
All provide useful practical training, Try Hack Me is currently my favourite.
